Most women have accepted that they are just someone who...

...feels "crazy" or "out of control" for half of the month
...gets painful period cramps
...has tender breasts
...gets awful headaches
...sweats in their sleep
...has acne
...is not a good sleeper
...has poor digestion
...is exhausted all the time
...is stressed out
...has irregular cycles
...isn't able to get pregnant

I am here to tell you that you don't have to live this way!

While these are all common experiences, they are not "normal" and are your body's way of telling you that something needs to change. These experiences do not have to be who you are, or maybe even part of your life anymore.

Let me guide you to achieve hormonal health!

Hi, I’m Dr. Keara, a Toronto-based naturopath who focuses on helping women balance their hormones and natural rhythms so they can live fulfilling lives. My naturopathic treatment approach is to use natural and evidence-based means to bring the body back into balance, and to help my patients connect with their bodies so they can take their health into their own hands. I can help you understand your symptoms, optimize your hormone health, and feel like yourself all month long.

My Story

Hormones play a role in it all!

Hormones have the power to improve almost every aspect of your health & well-being.

PMS

Too many women experience unpleasant symptoms before every period - mood swings, insomnia, headaches, sore breasts - this does NOT have to be your monthly normal. There are things that can be doen to improve your premenstrual experience!

Fertility

Fertility issues are common among couples. You deserve better care - to have a thorough hormonal work-up to understand the root cause of what is holding you back from starting your family. We will get your body in its healthiest state to carry your baby to term.

Digestion

I truly believe that good health begins in the gut. We need to make sure your digestion is optimal to ensure your body is absorbing the nutrients your body needs to thrive.

Stress

While stress is an inevitable part of a fast-paced lifestyle, high levels of perceived stress can have a negative impact on our hormone health. It’s a negative cycle that CAN be broken. It's not about eliminating stress, but finding a way to manage it!

Insomnia

Insomnia is more common in women than men and not only are hormones playing a role, but not getting adequate restorative sleep each night also has a negative impact on your hormones. Good sleep is an imperative part of feeling like your best self.

Weight Loss

When it comes to weight loss, certain hormones - i.e. thyroid, insulin, leptin, cortisol play a big role. Diet and lifestyle influence weight, but you may be surprised to learn that a restrictive diet is not necessary, and actually not great for your hormones long-term.
